Where to Shop and What to Know

When asked to describe the wardrobe aesthetic of The White Lotus season 3 in brief, costume designer Alex Bovaird supplies only two words: “emotional dressing.” And yet it’s an apt summary for the parade of billowing kaftans and bright swimsuits HBO has released in key art for the series, which returns this Sunday. That kind of aspirational vacation wear is what H&M creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson refers to as “a glamorous and dreamy resort look,” adding, “I think we excel at that kind of wardrobe.”
HBO and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products clearly felt the same way, having reached out to H&M months ago to pursue an exclusive collaboration timed to the new season. The resulting collection will launch in select H&M stores and online beginning mere days after the season 3 premiere. “Many of the looks and prints” in season 3 “directly inspired the pieces in the collection,” writes Bovaird in an email interview, noting that eagle-eyed viewers will see that through line when the show arrives on screens. The clothes are “imbued with the colors of Thailand and the essence of the characters in this season.”
The 25-piece drop features lightweight dresses in a range of cuts and bold prints; matching sets in crochet and lace; versatile accessories—including a pair of brown leather sandals affixed with floral pom-poms; and swimsuits and cover-ups to wear poolside and beyond. The collection will range in price from $19.99 to $199, with sizing between XS and XXL (or US 2-22).
