Paris Fashion Week Fall 2025 Street Style Trends—and How to Wear Them

Shhh…Did you hear that? It’s the collective exhalation of fashion folks all around the world now that fashion month is really, officially, totally over. (And thank goodness for that.) After New York, and London, and Milan—oh my!—Paris has rounded out the closing ceremonies for fall/winter 2025. And here’s the news: There’s enough style inspiration to feed us for a whole year.
Below, I’m breaking down the most major street style trends from Paris fashion week and outlining the best ways to shop them for yourself. Buckle up, you’re in for sartorial thrills.
Collared Jackets
Suiting is another one of this season’s trends, but more on that later. Whether you go for a blazer or a barn jacket, as seen here, try layering up with more casual outfits. The results will be, undoubtedly, very fashionable.
Girlhood Relics
No surprise here, but everyone is tending to their inner child (myself included). For some, this might look like a Tamagotchi as a bag charm. For others, it’s bows in your hair. I’ll be honest: Yes, I have considered a Strawberry Shortcake tattoo. Sue me!
Funky Skirts
Choosing one particular look was difficult for this one because the options were so good and so plentiful. Hemlines varied, as did prints. From floral to animal print to plaid, it’s the season of the skirt.
’60s Mod
A round of applause for this stylish woman, please. Not only is she rocking that Bottega Veneta trench, but she’s also trailblazing bag trends by doubling up.
Pastels
This is a look for the ages, no? First of all, the layering is second to none. The color palette, delectable. I can’t get enough of it, and as someone who historically steers clear of pastels, this is a total about-face.
Suit & Tie
Operation Women In Ties 2025 is a go, and Paris got the memo this fashion week. Oversized suit coats, structured shoulders, and snatched waists gave major girl boss energy on some of the city’s chicest ladies. You love to see it.
Printed Scarves
Bad hair days just got slightly less scarier because head scarves seem to be the trend du jour for cool girls. Or, if that’s not your thing, tie one around your neck or onto the handle of your purse.
Suede
You can always expect to see an uptick in suede in the fall and winter, but spring and summer? That one’s new for me, but I loved seeing it all over the Parisian streets in the form of blazers, trenches, and of course, accessories.
Maximalism
Prints! And then more prints! Balloon sleeves! And full skirts! This season, style everything but the kitchen sink. It’s all about serotonin dressing, so take a chance and try pairing your favorite pieces together, even if they aren’t complementary.
Subtle Skin
Spring has sprung, and the gals are celebrating by showing off a little bit of skin—or a lot. Whether it manifested as bare legs, Bermuda shorts, or mini skirts, it’s time to let your body breathe again.
