The 2025 Latin American Fashion Awards Are Now Accepting Submissions
The Latin American Fashion Awards, the global awards dedicated to celebrating Latin creatives in the fashion industry, are officially back. Founded by Constanza Cavalli Etro and Silvia Argüello, the biennial awards, which first began in 2023, aim to honor and elevate Latin American talent. Previous winners include esteemed designers Willy Chavarria and Daniela Villegas.
This year, the event will take place from November 6-9, bringing together industry titans, designers, models, and press for four days of programming dedicated to the community’s impact on fashion.
Submissions for the 2025 awards are now open, with creatives across 14 categories invited to apply via the official website through May 31. The application process is free, highlighting the organization’s commitment to accessibility and inclusion. The 14 categories include: Designer of the Year, Emerging Designer of the Year, Model of the Year, Brand of the Year, Fashion Impact Leader of the Year, and more. The host country for the event will be announced in April.
“Latin America has been the cradle of many artists, designers, artisans, and trends over the years,” Cavalli Etro and Argüello said in a press release. “Today, more than ever, it’s time to honor our roots, embrace diversity, and celebrate our talent.”
Finalists will be announced on September 15, and the winners will be determined by a panel of renowned industry leaders. The judges include notable names such as ELLE editor-in-chief Nina Garcia, Margherita Maccapani Missoni, Haider Ackermann, and Kean Etro, bringing a global perspective to the selection process.
