This spring’s buzziest athleisure brand, a British label called Adanola, has been hiding in plain sight. Over the past few years, its minimalist activewear sets and collegiate-style sweatsuits have quietly collected It girl fans like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emily Ratajkowski, Olivia Culpo, and Elsa Hosk—but Adanola stopped flying under the radar when Kendall Jenner became a face of the brand in January.
After much wear-testing, the ELLE fashion team has agreed that Adanola’s workout clothes—most of which are under $100—deserve all the fanfare they’ve received as of late. If you’re looking for a place to start, try Adanola’s $65 Ultimate Leggings, the company’s top-selling product for the past five years, according to Cook. Kaia Gerber and Lori Harvey have been photographed numerous times in a sleek black pair. The flattering, high-rise fit does not include a front seam—a small but impactful design change that keeps them squat-proof while minimizing the chances of a dreaded camel toe.
“Out of the box, the Ultimate Leggings look tiny, but they stretch to fit with the perfect amount of compression and don’t budge for the duration of your wear,” notes Elly Leavitt, fashion and luxury commerce editor. “The fabric is unbelievably smooth.”
All that said, Pilates clothes aren’t Adanola’s only bread and butter—its post-gym loungewear receives just as much attention online. Casual staples like hoodies, joggers, and sweatshorts come in versatile colorways that mingle well with the brand’s workout gear.
