& Other Stories Names Jonathan Saunders as Chief Creative Officer

Scottish fashion designer Jonathan Saunders, who closed his eponymous label in 2016 and stepped down as chief creative officer from Diane Von Furstenberg in 2017, is taking on a newly created role at & Other Stories, the brand announced today.

Saunders will lead & Other Stories’ overall creative direction, shaping how the brand evolves and expresses itself.

“Jonathan brings a refined blend of creativity and passion to & Other Stories and will play a key role in taking the brand into the next phase,” Lina Söderqvist, & Other Stories’ managing director, said. “His engagement and creative leadership, combined with a deep understanding of contemporary fashion, will be instrumental as we move forward. We look forward to working with Jonathan as we continue to evolve, and I am delighted to welcome him to us.”

Saunders was also previously creative director of Pollini, and has consulted for brands such as Calvin Klein, Tiffany & Co., Chloé, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Pucci, and Marc Jacobs. He is known for his innovative use of color and print.

“I am excited to be working with & Other Stories and the H&M Group on this new chapter for the brand. I think that thoughtful, expressive design that is also accessible, is powerful in this fast-evolving industry,” Saunders said.

He’s set to start in “the first half of 2025.”
